With the unveiling of Le Sarto, Iconic House continues its expansion into the French Alps, introducing a new kind of alpine hospitality rooted in heritage, elevated by design, and powered by personal vision. Following the success of their first alpine retreat in Courchevel, Le Sarto marks a return to the origins of luxury mountain living in Megève.

In the 1920s, Baroness Noémie de Rothschild transformed Megève from a rural mountain village into a refined retreat for the French bourgeoisie. At the heart of this transformation was architect Henry Jacques Le Même, whom she commissioned to design her first chalet. Considered revolutionary in its time, his design seamlessly blended luxury and functionality, introducing the “skier’s chalet,” recognizable by its signature double-pitched roof and traditional stone foundation, an architectural hallmark of the region today.

Nestled in the heart of Megève, just below the Calvary sanctuary, Le Sarto honors this rich heritage. Reimagined in close collaboration with CLAVES, the chalet breathes new life into Le Même’s original vision, seamlessly weaving together contemporary art, modern comforts, and Iconic House’s signature approach to hospitality.
