WEEKS OFF: the first guide dedicated to holiday homes to rent

Drawing on two years' experience operating four hotel houses in France, and based on a number of observations about the holiday rental market and its ecosystem, Iconic House is launching Weeks Off: a guide dedicated to holiday homes for rent.

Casa Santa Teresa (Corse, France)

Today, the trend seems obvious: preferring the freedom and privacy offered by a private home to a hotel for a more authentic holiday, without giving up comfort and style, is becoming the number one choice for many customers. And with the range of holiday rentals already on offer, albeit very scattered, we are convinced that we have the opportunity to create a benchmark medium to promote these exceptional properties and holidays.

Despite an ever-increasing range of properties on offer, it has to be said that the most attractive holiday homes (i.e. "serviced holiday homes available for seasonal rental ") are still drowned out by vast catalogues and are rarely well promoted by the main players in the market: various intermediaries - from generalist booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking, Enjkey...), where houses are confused among other types of seasonal accommodation, to seasonal rental agencies (Le Collectionnist, Barnes, Emile Garcin...).

“It was with this in mind that we came up with Weeks Off. We want to focus on curation and editorial, which are the two pillars of the project.”
La Petite Maison Noire (Périgord, France)

WEEKS OFF: a practical and inspiring guide dedicated to holiday homes

Farmhouses, villas, châteaux, bastides, manor houses, town houses or country houses... Weeks Off offers an exclusive curation of entirely private, unique and warm places to live, naturally embodied by their owners.

"We scout all over France and select the houses that inspire us most: those that stand out from the crowd because of their character, location, design or architecture, and that are the work of people driven by a genuine sense of hospitality. Our ambition? To capture the history and uniqueness of each of these houses in a detailed article format".
L'Étoile des Baux (Provence, France)

To help you find your way around: an ultra-ergonomic and intuitive website, with a strong emphasis on images and editorial content (full articles, selections, recommendations, etc.), featuring an intelligent search tool (filters, search by destination, practical information sheets, etc.), an editorial newsletter to keep you up to date with exclusive offers and an active - and creative - presence on social networks to disseminate new content.

All wrapped up in a sleek graphic identity and an assertive editorial approach, characterised by a liberated tone and a fresh style.
